		The Norwegian transport company Hansen & Sønner transports green waste for one of its clients. Part of this transport involves a ferry crossing - a situation where leakage from the load must be prevented under all circumstances. For this reason, we engineered a fully leak-proof trailer especially for this customer. An amazing customer-specific solution that shows what we achieve with our Special Solutions!

Completely leak-tight

Loads transported on board a ferry must meet stringent requirements, including safety. For example, to prevent damage to the ferry and other vehicles or nuisance to passengers loads must not leak. Hansen & Sønner AS Transport was therefore looking for a leak-tight trailer that allowed them to transport green waste. In consultation with our Norwegian dealer Trailerpartner NO, the customer opted for a completely leak-proof Knapen moving floor trailer.

Leak-proof trailer forms the basis

The basis of this Special Solution is a Knapen moving floor trailer with a 15-plank floor that is 10 mm thick. Mounted below this floor is a fully sealed subdeck. Combined with the leak-tight hydraulic tailgate, this creates a leak-proof trailer. The automatic moveable bulk head allows the driver to operate the trailer from the outside. The Knapen Trailers remote control and PowerSheet® complete this Special Solution. An ideal solution for the transport of bulk goods with a high liquid content, such as green waste, wet household waste or industrial waste.
